The MCA-MSU Bull Evaluation provides an intensive, objective evaluation of young beef bulls for growth, feed efficiency, carcass merit, breeding soundness, and structural soundness.

Using individual feed-intake monitoring and continuous body-weight measurements, we collect thousands of observations on every bull throughout the evaluation. That depth of data helps us identify meaningful differences among bulls and gives seedstock producers and commercial cattlemen better information for selection decisions.  We do more, so you know more.

The 2026–27 Bull Evaluation Is Underway
96 bulls from 20 consignors are now on evaluation in Remus, Michigan.
Follow their progress through the evaluation, then join us for the Bull Evaluation Open House on March 6 and the Bull Evaluation Sale on March 20.
